Hills Robes & Screens is a family-owned and operated business located in Caloundra, specialising in the manufacture and installation of wardrobe internals and sliding robe doors, custom storage solutions, shower screens, custom mirrors, and glass splashbacks. Sliding Wardrobe Door Fabricator

Start Date: Immediately

Full-time schedule: 38 hours/week, Mon-Thu 7am-3:30pm, Fri 7am-1:30pm.

About the Role

We are looking to employ a high-energy, hard-working, and reliable individual to join our team. The selected candidate will work in our Caloundra factory and will be responsible for fabricating sliding wardrobe doors and assisting in the management of the workshop.

Skills & Experience

Prospective candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Good physical fitness and health, with the capability to lift heavy products.
  • High-quality workmanship.
  • Exceptional communication abilities and customer service.
  • Capability to work independently, display initiative, and resolve problems.
  • Previous experience cutting glass is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Possession of a manual driver’s license is preferred.
  • Holding a forklift license is preferred.

Wardrobe Installer

Start Date: Immediately

Full-time schedule: 38 hours/week, Mon-Thu 7am-3:30pm, Fri 7am-1:30pm.

About the role

We are searching for a full-time wardrobe installer to work alongside the administration and operations team based out of our Caloundra office. The role will involve:

  • Installation of wardrobe internals and sliding robe doors
  • Assembling and completing joinery to a high standard
  • Interpreting plans for projects
  • Working on-site alongside clients without supervision
  • Travel around the Sunshine Coast
  • Going above and beyond to provide excellent customer service to clients
  • Completing overtime when required to meet deadlines
  • Communicating effectively with administration and factory staff about projects
  • Assist factory staff as required
Skills & Experience
  • Knowledge and/or experience in cabinet-making or similar
  • Tradesmen preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
  • Excellent time management and reliability
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and without supervision
  • Self-motivated and ability to show initiative
  • Outstanding customer service and work ethic
  • Confident and experienced in using power tools
  • Driver’s license – manual is preferred
