How to Measure for your Supply Only Sliding Robe Doors

To obtain a quote for your project and to ensure the made-to-measure sliding robe doors fit perfectly in your space, follow our step-by-step how-to-guide to measuring. STEP 1

MEASURE HEIGHT:

  • Measure the internal space in three places as indicated in the diagram – A, B, & C.

STEP 2

MEASURE WIDTH:

  • Measure the internal space in three places as indicated in the diagram – D, E, & F.

STEP 3

MEASURE FLOOR PLATE:

  • Measure the width of the existing timber floor plate (if you have one).
  • If you don’t have an existing timber floor plate, one will be provided with your order at no extra charge.

STEP 4

MEASURE WALL JAMB:

  • Measure the width of the existing timber wall jamb (if you have one).
  • If you don’t have an existing timber wall jamb, your DIY wardrobe will be supplied with an aluminium wall jamb.

IMPORTANT

  • Provide all measurements to the nearest millimetre.
  • When measuring on carpet, ensure you put pressure on the carpet to obtain a maximum internal measurement for the wardrobe frame.
  • All our supply only wardrobe standard tracks are 85mm wide and require a 90mm wall jamb. For narrow spaces, we have a 55mm track available.
  • Both top and bottom tracks are supplied over length to allow you to trim them to exact requirements.
  • Maximum door width is 1200mm.
  • Maximum door height is 2700mm.
  • Our SUPPLY ONLY Sliding Robe Doors are provided UNPACKAGED, and must be collected from our Caloundra factory. Please let us know if we can help you with installation.
